Gunmen Kill One, Kidnap Musician in Bayelsa State

Unidentified gunmen have raided a Bayelsa state community leaving behind commotion and chaos. 
Unidentified gunmen have invaded Polako community in Yenagoa, the Bayelsa State capital, killing one man and kidnapping Pereama Freetown, an Ijaw musician.
Premium Times reports that the attack occured in the early hours of Sunday.

The man who was killed was 37-year-old Ebikabowei Umbu. He was shot by the gunmen as they escaped with the hostage.

The police spokesperson in Bayelsa, Asinim Butwat, confirmed the incident and said the hoodlums escaped through the waterways.
